Un Democratization of public discussion and discourse

We live in interesting times when the amount of discussion debate taking place in public life is emormous, the platforms available for people to air their views are many, especially the internet and TV channels have provided a platform to many people to air their view but this initial democratization of of public debate with the inclusion of many fringe players of democracy in the centre of the debate plaform seems to have increasingly turned on its head and become un democratic with  few individuals who control these plaforms or have got the initial audience/listner attention, behaving like custodians of all that is right, they seem to believe they are the only people with the right views  and because now they can shout luder than others they will brow beat the one's with poor articulation capability into accepting their views.

The only way this can change is with the participation of the masses in the debating process which will lead to democratization of views once again
