God lives in the vaccume,

As they say as you move from childhood to youth you are on a roll, many things to learn discover and experience, you get busy ...as you go from youth to adulthood,.you have get even more focussed as you experience the responsibility of family and integration into society, as you go from adulthood to old age you experience a vaccume a space in time where the responsibility the speed the and the hurry is gone things seem to slowdown and the space is occupied by a time vaccume, how you fill the vaccume will decide how you make the journey to last.leg.of you journey.

This vaccume is the space where you can make peace with your maker and engage with him wholeheartedly so as they say god lives in the vaccume..

Media are these reporters or influencers

I am confused really don't know what is the role of the media in our democracy? well let us see how it shapes up?

Un Democratization of public discussion and discourse

We live in interesting times when the amount of discussion debate taking place in public life is emormous, the platforms available for people to air their views are many, especially the internet and TV channels have provided a platform to many people to air their view but this initial democratization of of public debate with the inclusion of many fringe players of democracy in the centre of the debate plaform seems to have increasingly turned on its head and become un democratic with  few individuals who control these plaforms or have got the initial audience/listner attention, behaving like custodians of all that is right, they seem to believe they are the only people with the right views  and because now they can shout luder than others they will brow beat the one's with poor articulation capability into accepting their views.

The only way this can change is with the participation of the masses in the debating process which will lead to democratization of views once again

Dil ki suno-The mantra of our times?

I saw 2 movies in the Last few weeks- 3 Idiots/Rocket Singh Salesman of the year.

They all uncannily had the same massage "Listen to your Heart" "Take up work that you love"

I was wondering what this is all about? is this the new mantra OR is this a new generation speaking its mind?

My answer is -it is the reflection of a complete socio-Economic change that is taking place, a much deeper impact than appears on the surface.

Where do stories of movies come from? from the imagination of individuals which is fired from the impact of the expereinces that those individuals get in the society around them-(I am cetainly discounting individuals like James Cameron who are creating world beyond our society), coming back to our writers, this is how it operates, what is happening in our society? that is firing these stories?

Well, Middle class is becoming economically powerful,Demography of our society is changing, Economic development is opening up variety of opportunities & this is changing/evolving the the value systems & beliefs in our society which is what is being captured by these intellegent writers who are very obervent.

While I do not have a view to offer or reason to debate this issue, I certainly believe this is a welcome change, The new generation will have more choices, more options & more empowerment to decide their future...Power to this change.

Isn't the job of the current generaton to leave a beter world for the next generation then we seem to doing a good job :)..Powet to our generation also...:)

People-The Growth syndrome

Times change, So do people, Everyone wants to grow as a person as a professional but when you ask people what growth means to them the answers are so unclear, so growth despite being such an important subject has not received the attention it deserves in out time allocation, is it cultural or individual trait?,I think there is a matter of pro activity & Re activity, Most of us look @ growth re actively rather than proactively we keep moving with the situations & take decisions along the way & that in my opinion is cultural.

So what do I want to say, quite confidently become proactive about growth, think about it plan for it make a strategy & work on it do not wait for things to happen.

Go for it.........

Calm after the Storm

As the saying goes there is calm before the storm.....but this time the storm came shouting down & all of us got caught into it, Last couple of days have seen slowing down of the Anxious overtones & we are behaving like normal beings.

I was amazed by the depth of the impact of the economic turmoil, when I heard my paanwala discussing the reasons for the economic slow down & its impact on the common man, he went to the extent of asking me what is happening in America?

While I tried my level best to explain to him the reasons & level of the impact, he made a profound observation " Saheb yeh to bahoot bad lafda hain yahaan nahin rookega bada panga hoga".

I remember him today because I am wondering weather the calm after the storm could turn into calm before the storm.. Are we done with anxiety or there is more to come?.. let us watch out
